In 1927 this Tutor Revival home was designed by the well known Dallas firm Fooshee and Cheek. It wasn't until 2007 that the Gardens blossomed. The incorporation of ornamental iron work and Tutor period stone is what sets this garden apart from all others. Ralph Duesing has said "The scale of the house is something that Fooshee and Cheek were very successful at – it works great with the garden. We didn’t want to produce some type of garden that looked like something other than belonging to this house. We accomplished that through material, scale and directly through the Tudor style.”
